Golden Gate Bridge Dog Portraits with Murphy

This San Francisco dog photography session couldn’t have been more magical. I met my clients at Marshall Beach (a less-popular/more secluded beach on the North side of the Golden Gate Bridge - highly recommend!) at exactly 4pm on a Sunday. I had just wrapped up a super busy and fun Instant Doggie Photobooth in Hayes Valley with my assistant, and after a quick bite we zipped across the city to the Marshall Beach parking lot.

I’ll be back in the San Francisco Bay Area for San Francisco Dog Photography Sessions on April 11 through 15, and I can’t wait! There is nothing I enjoy more than spending time in my favorite city (San Francisco), drinking a LOT of Philz Coffee, eating a LOT of burritos, and photographing dogs running on the beach or chasing a ball at Golden Gate Park or sitting on the couch in a sunny home in Noe Valley or the Castro or out in Berkeley or anywhere in the gorgeous San Francisco Bay Area.

Once in a while the stars align and your favorite weather shows up (cool, slight breeze, bright yet cloudy, beach vibes), your favorite people show up (my two good friends Nat and Bill, of the famous The Labs and Co - pet photography + design + ad work), your brain is running on all five cylinders and everyone is just relaxed and happy to be together in the most genuine way. For this artist - that is pretty much as good as it gets.
