I've personally built all my websites with Squarespace because it is the simplest, most design-forward and modern template site out there today. Really, anyone can do it. I've taught many people above the age of 60 to make a website! Need a blog, an online store, a portfolio or calendar of events all in one place? You can do that with Squarespace. You need to get with the times and start using the many platforms of today's social media network to tell your story and attract new customers/clients. Social media is not about posting cute kitten videos, it's simply about telling your story in an effective and honest way. Let me teach you how to use Instagram, Facebook, Twitter and Mailchimp (the nation's best online newsletter service) to be in constant contact with your community and turn leads into sales in a gentle yet affective way. Social media isn't scary, and it isn't just for tweens. It is, however, incredibly effective if you want to succeed in business these days, especially for creatives.
Online Portfolio Reviews
Photographers need feedback in order to grow and refine their style, as well as someone to hold them accountable to create their best work. Portfolio reviews do just that. Together we’ll review your photography online, filter out the pieces that are weakest and lean into the work that is the strongest. Students who sign up for multiple sessions will be able to go out, shoot new imagery, and workshop that in follow up classes. The end result will be not only a refined portfolio, but a refined and elegant style that is uniquely yours.
Online Book Publishing Class:
Self Publishing or Commercial Publishing
Publishing can be very daunting, whether you want to self publish or score a commercial book deal from a publisher. We’ll discuss the pros and cons of each method, and work together to bring your book to life. From concept to design to copy writing to marketing to crowd funding to selling to creating a deck and pitching to a publisher - I’ve been through it all many, many times. A book is an amazing tool, it is a calling card, and it is a deeply satisfying way to bring a project together.
